MISCELLANEOUS
Library Quote of the Week
“Our seasons don’t fade into each other—you wake to them abruptly. Fall lasts forever until you wake to soft snow and bing winds. The snow blankets the city until one day it’s forty degrees, the snow melts, and the gutters run in rivers. You wear a jean jacket through spring until one day you leave school and have to carry your jacket home, sweating bullets all day. It was spring now, but summer was coming, and I could smell it in the air.”
