GENERAL
School Forms and Payments:
Return completed registration forms to the office in the drop boxes.
If you need to pay for your $20 registration fee or any other unpaid invoices, please come to the Main Office.
Bus Passes
Bus Passes can be purchased in the Main Office with cash or cheque. Passes are $200 for Semester 1. Passes must be purchased now to ride the bus.
Driver’s Ed SGI Tests
Anyone who is already 15 and wants to try to receive their learner’s licence by taking their SGI tests is welcome to do so on Friday September 19th at noon in room 258. Bring your chromebooks and know how to sign into your SGI account.
Comp Eats Continues
The program includes a Community Fridge, located in Student Services, it is stocked with healthy snacks and is available to all students—no questions asked. Often available are muffins, granola bars, school friendly trail mix, crackers, apples, bananas, cucumbers, carrots & more.
It also provides Classroom Eats, which ensures access to nutritious food throughout the day by providing a basket of non-perishable items in your classroom. Please be mindful of others and take only what you need and clean up after yourself.
The Comp Eats crew will be meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at noon in the Library Seminar Room.

Team & individual pictures will take place on Wednesday, September 17th, in the gym. All athletes must be in complete team uniform for the picture (shorts, jerseys, shoes, etc).

Sr. Boys Volleyball
The Sr. A Colts volleyball team travelled to Saskatoon this weekend and claimed silver in the U of S Huskies tournament. The Colts went 5 - 1 on the weekend and lost to Lloydminster Comp in the final 23-25, 25-20, 15-17.
Sr. Girls Volleyball
The Sr. Ardens volleyball team attended the 16 team Mega volleyball tournament this past weekend. The girls went 9-0 on the weekend capturing the gold medal. Congratulations to Braelyn and Reese for their all-star awards and Reese for MVP of the tournament.
Ardens Soccer
This weekend the Swift Current Ardens went undefeated in their home tournament, ending with wins of 1-0, 4-0 and 4-0 against PA St. Mary, Weyburn and Regina Campbell. Thanks for coming out to watch!

Debate Club
A Daily Thought Worth Wrestling With: Should artificial intelligence have the same rights as humans if it becomes conscious? Our first Debate Club meeting is Thursday, September 18, in Room 214 at noon.
Chess Club
The chess club is back! We will have our first meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16 at noon in Mr. Derksen’s classroom (room 206). All players from all skill levels are welcome!
Business Club
Business Club meeting on Thursday September 18 in room 255 at noon. If you cannot make it please let Mrs. Philippon or Mrs. Bender know. If you are interested in joining, all grades are welcome!

Senior Sunrise
Wednesday September 17 at 6:40 AM on the football field.
We will gather as a Grad Class and watch the sunrise, play games and have a pancake breakfast.
MISCELLANEOUS
Post Secondary Information:
University of Alberta Information Session
Tuesday, September 16 at 11:05 in the Lecture Theatre.
Students interested in getting more information about the University Alberta and programs available are invited to attend this session. A recruiter from the U of A will be visiting SCCHS tomorrow.
Period 3 teacher permission is required.
