MISCELLANEOUS
Hey, I just thought I’d take a moment and just introduce myself. I am Cst Tony Curti and I am the School Resource Officer for the Swift Current Comprehensive High School. I am also a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in my 23rd year. I was also in the Canadian Armed Forces for 17 years before that. I am lucky to be in your school as not every high school has a resource officer. There is only 3 or 4 in the entire province. What is my job here?…what do I do?
Well first of all I do a Weekly Tip that is in the announcements. It is called “Cst Curti’s tip of the Week”
Do I enforce the law?…yes .
Do I do presentations? Yes.
Do I provide a secure environment for you to feel safe in.? I sure hope so.
The most important thing I do is to listen to you and make some real connections. I believe in the word RESPECT. I will give you 100% and respect as long as I get some back.
I’m an easy guy to get along with and if you ever want to have a chat I’m all ears. If you have any topics you would like me to touch on in my tips of the week just let me know and I’ll highlight them for the week.
If you know you know!!
Cst Tony Curti
