GENERAL

Fitness Centre afterschool today

Fitness Centre is closed today after school

 

Chromebook Return dates:

Grade 9 - homeroom teacher - June 23 rd

Grade 10 -12 - Period 6 - June 19th 

If your assigned Chromebook is not returned here are the fees:

$350 Chromebook replacement fee

$50 Charge cord replacement fee

 

BRING YOUR CHROMEBOOK TO SCHOOL 

We know it’s a hectic time of year, but don’t forget one of the basics: bring your Chromebook to school fully charged to every class.   

 

Grade 9 Final Exam Week Permission Form - Due TODAY!

Permission forms are due Tues. June 17th. If you need a copy of the form to take home, we have copies at the office.  Forms to be handed in to your homeroom teacher. 

 

Library

The library is reserved at lunchtime for students who need a quiet place to work on assignments, study, or silently unwind. Please find another area to chat and hangout. 

Remember to return your library books before Friday. If you have any questions about the books you’ve borrowed, stop by the library to ask Ms. Pérez or send her a message on google chat.

 

 Driver’s Ed: 

Are you needing/wanting drives before the summer holidays? If so, we have sign-up sheets in the main office. Please pick a date and time when you are NOT writing an exam. *Remember your drive date and bring your licence!



ATHLETICS

Boys with team room lockers: Please have your locker emptied out by 3:30 p.m. on Friday June 20th.  Take all your gear home but leave your lock LOCKED on the hasp.  Gear left behind will be put in the lost and found near the elevator.  Thanks for your cooperation.

 

The Athletic Awards Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, June 18, at noon in the cafeteria.  Attire is semi-formal.

 

Track and Field Singlets need to be returned…Still missing a SCCHS singlet from Diezel P and SWAC Singlets from Piper Al, Rylan F, Payten H, Elliot J, Devin K, Diezel P, Campbell P, Amara St., Milly W, Caleb D, Cali H, Bryden T. IF YOUR NAME IS ON THIS LIST, PLEASE BRING YOUR SINGLET TO ROOM 235 ASAP!

Chess Club

Come to the last chess club meeting of the year today at noon in Mr. Sharp’s room (115). All players are welcome!

 

BEST BUDDIES - Weird Science Day

TUESDAY, JUNE 17:   Last event of the year.    

Meet in Room 112 for lunch and visit.  We will head up to see Mrs. Tuplin in the Physics Lab for some Weird Science !!  See you there

The High School Art show open one last weekend! Last day to view the gallery is on June 21st! Open 1-5pm at the West Wing Gallery!

 

Attention: If anyone has art up in the hallway, especially any graduating Grade 12’s - if you want your artworks back before summer, please come see Ms. Collins before the end of the week!

CTA Scholarship

Your teachers’ association offers 3 scholarships of $1000 each. See the page by Student Services and talk to Mr. Richards if you have any questions. 

 

Spirit Week 

Tuesday: Dress as your kindergarten self

Wednesday: Dress as your future self (career etc)

Thursday: T-shirt sign out day

Friday: Pick up your cap and gown - Student Services 10 - 3:30 (Pending Delivery) - Available for pick on Monday and Tuesday as well.  These early pick up days are to allow families who wish to have pictures with their gown before Graduation Day.
