COLT OF THE WEEK

This week’s Colt of the Week is an athlete who has become a master of technique in his sport. Over the years, this young man has dedicated countless hours to improving his skills. This week’s title goes to Talon Tumback.

Talon, I’ve witnessed your hard work in cutting weight, but this year you faced the challenge of maintaining your weight. Competing in the 90 kg category, your blend of technique and years of experience led to an outstanding season, capped off by a well-deserved silver medal at this year’s provincial wrestling tournament.

Talon, it has been a privilege to be in your corner for the past four years. I have no doubt that you will continue to give back to this sport in many ways. Congratulations on being named Colt of the Week!

ARDEN OF THE WEEK

This week’s Arden of the Week goes to Callie Ebner. Callie is a determined and strong-willed young lady with an unwavering drive to win. Her "honey badger" attitude and relentless work ethic have fueled her success this season, her second year of wrestling. Callie’s dedication was rewarded with a well-earned silver medal at this year’s provincial tournament, a testament to the hard work she’s put in.

Callie, you consistently push yourself to be better, and I know you’ve already set your sights on next season’s goals. I can’t wait to be in your corner as you continue to grow and achieve. Congratulations on being named Arden of the Week!

LIBRARY QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again.”
